Since moving to Cornwall to be close to our family again and having had very different careers in the Midlands we wanted to be living amongst the people of St Ives and be a part of the cobbles and community.
‘Cheese on Coast’, our beautiful cheesemongers was born simply through our love of all things cheese. Once we began to research and educate ourselves professionally this love turned into a true passion. We are the first and currently the only two people in Cornwall to hold a recognised qualification in cheese accredited by the Academy of Cheese and we are proud to be members of the Guild of Fine Food, promoting excellence in fine food and drink.
Our aim is to promote delicious artisan cheeses produced on farms using recipes that sometimes date back hundreds of years. We have a beautiful range of cheeses from Cornwall and the South West, exceptional cheeses from around the world. We also stock seasonal and guest cheeses throughout various times of the year. How about trying an American Monterey Jack during the Superbowl weekend or a Spanish Manchego during La Tomatina festival?
